Afghans create together.

Dream Voice Act

We inspire a vision of a peaceful and confident Afghanistan.

Dream Voice Act (DVA) is an agency headquartered in Kabul that that focuses on mental health, creating confidence and empowering the people of Afghanistan. DVA supports confidence and empowerment among the men, women, and children of Afghanistan to fully participate in Afghan society, and fully access both education, health entrepreneurship, and agricultural independence through self-reliance. The mission is to question the current mindset of the Afghan people by displaying a mirror image of their action using social media, TV, and radio to create reflection and accountability towards empowerment and independent thinking.

Vision

DVA envisions a joyful, prosperous, responsible, accountable, forgiving, apologizing, loving, empathic, humorous, knowledgeable, grateful, optimistic, communicative, understanding and healthy nation, where humanity is in perfect harmony with the law of nature, which is in complete acceptance with women, men, children, race, religion, culture, gender and all ethnic backgrounds for an independent, progressive and peaceful Afghanistan.

Mission

The people of Afghanistan have always lived by code called Afghanyat, a way of life that stands for honor, hospitality, optimism, respect, women, and bravery. This code of ethics is actualized by welcoming people of every race, religion, culture, gender, economic backgrounds and all ethnics with unconditional love and care in action. However, this description of the Afghan people does not align with how they currently behave towards themselves and others.

The mission is to question the current mindset of the Afghan people by displaying a mirror image of their action using social media, TV, and radio to create reflection and accountability towards empowerment and independent thinking. Dream Voice Act awakens responsibility and empathy for each other through basic human rights by challenging practices and beliefs that are deemed taboo and forbidden. The solutions are presented by providing information through education, health, entrepreneurship, and agriculture in a direction towards a united citizenry.

Using the power of the Internet, television and radio, while providing online videos and social media campaigns, DVA inspires and gives confidence to all Afghans – women, men, children, young and old alike – by sharing successful individual stories on social media as an inspirational campaign to create courage and empowerment towards believing in dreams, raising voices and actioning together towards a progressive Afghanistan.

To implement and accomplish her mission, Nadima invented Tesha de Waday, a humorous online character invented to inspire the Afghan people to return to their dignified roots and traditional code of life. Tesha de Waday is a Pashto phrase which means “What is it, mother?” or ”What’s up, mother?”

On her Facebook page alone, over 10 million total minutes of video have been viewed by her followers.

Nadima the creator of Dream Voice Act cares deeply for all the people of Afghanistan and it is her its mission to bring the people of Afghanistan together through Afghanyat, a way of life where everyone can have a freewill to choose both love and learning.
